I no longer go into shock when I think I have to go the bathroom. I am able to go in a zit=bath with warm water and the pain is now manageable. I quickly move to the shower where I finish off with a cool down. I am beyond grateful that I am not suffering as much as I was and in all honestly the major discomfort has lasted only a week at the most. Three days have passed since my last radiation treatment and MOST of the burning sensations have gone and there is much healing that is already taking place.
Ready to live again! So I make sure I go into the garden each day and water and enjoy the view. I have uploaded some photos so share some of the space that gives me so much satisfaction.
In recovery, Frank
So glad you are feeling better. Believe me it continues to get better as the days go on. Just don’t get discouraged (like I did) when you might eat something that causes you to have diarrhea because I am finding that happens and everyone is telling me this is normal and can go on for a few months. It still isn’t bad compared to what we have all been through. It is truely amazing how strong we all are. We made it Frank and we are going to keep making it!

Frank—
I’m so glad to hear my buddy is making a quick comeback! It is amazing how fast the body begins to heal after such damage is done. I hope you will continue to see improvement with each day that passes. Soon, you will be able to do all the things you have missed for awhile. Enjoy that garden and all its beauty and continue to keep us updated on how things are going. I’m keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery.
Sending healing hugs your way—Martha
